Spoon-billed sandpiper (Eurynorhynchuspygmeus), which breeds in the north-eastern Russia and winters in Southeast Asia, is the most important specie in the world. According to the IUCN status, It threads Endangered (EN) in 2004 to Critically Endangered (CR) in 2008 rapidly. They migrate using the East Asian- Australasian Flyway in every year about 8000 km from its breeding ground. Myanmar is one of the main favorite spot during the winter season.

Day1 Yangon Arrival

Arrive to Yangon and welcome by your Bird Guide and transfer to Hotel. We prefer morning flight. Check in & make sightseeing such as Sule Pagoda & Park, Chaukhtak Gyi, the world biggest marble stone Buddha Image. Dinner & Prepare for your trip.
overnight at Hotel in Yangon .

Day2 Yangon- Kyaikhto -Gulf of Moattama (by car)
Day3/4 Gulf of Moattama (on boat)

Morning start your adventure for the rare species, Spoon-billed Sandpiper. Accommodation will be on traditional fishing boat, very basic. Meals should be on package. This optional tour should be arranged in advance.

Day5 Gulf of Moattama - Kyaikhto - Yangon (By boat & By Car)

Drive back to Yangon. On the way, you can visit to the famous culture sites such as Bago( the second Myanmar Empire founder , King Anarawatta’s old Palace place and Tahthone, ShweSarYan Pagoda.
Transfer to Hotel and Overnight at Yangon.

Day 6 Yangon Departure
